Mommy and I are heading to Calgary…. June 11th 2008 8:08 pm

The Furless sister bought a house and Mommy says she needs to go ‘interfere’ there…. Piccy gets to stay home with Daddy (the first time she’s been on her own without ME… hmmmmm).

We’ll be back in a few weeks.

It’s still winter! January 22nd 2008 5:12 pm

HAHAHA… we will have winter for months yet, so Mommy says ‘learn to like it’. Hmmmmmmmmm – I really don’t mind the snow, but when it’s a bit warmer we can have more fun outside… OH WeLL.. those days will come.

Not much new – Piccadilly likes to eat the snow (thankfully not the yellow stuff.. ;)

Mommy and Daddy are still acting goofy and punching and swinging at the TV with that Wii thingy (we just look at them like they have gone over the edge:)

Piccadilly cuts in on me every time Mommy tries to give me a belly rub, hug, play-time (grrrr) – there auta’ be a law on that one!

AND, I think I need some peanut butter in my kong – this minute!

Happy Birthday to Me: January 10th 2008 7:55 am

We are all number oneblog

I’m two today… those years sure did seem to go FAST.

Mommy and Daddy were up in the middle of the night – and, so I got my FIRST birthday singing at 3:00 am. I was very polite and listened intently [then, stretched... rolled over and went back to sleep like a normal dog/person would do in the middle of the night... HA]. Then, this morning Daddy’s office called and they sang/woofed Happy Birthday to me, too…. WOW – I had to check out that phone and the singing… it was pretty special.

Mommy has already baked the doggy brownie mix (that came from Mr. Duncan) and she put peanut butter icing (organic from Lucy and Issy) on it; and has taken pictures with the princess hair clips (from Fergus)…. [pst... my Christmas pressies can last right to my birthday;)].

I’ve already opened my Brudder’s gift…. BOL… it’s a flea! I have squeaked and shaken it so it will never bite another pup, though… it was fun. AND, it wasn’t planned, but sweet Bella’s parcel arrived yesterday with a BEAUTIFUL ice cream and lollipop and yummy treats too.

It’s great to be spoiled – and today I get to go shopping with Mommy and then have Fergus over for birthday ‘brownie’ cake. [He is 3 on the 12th].

Piccadilly is bounding and leaping… January 3rd 2008 12:44 pm

Mommy says she shouldn’t ’cause she might hurt herself again, but she won’t listen!!!!!!!!!!!! Mommy also says I don’t have to teach her my bad habits too… hehehe.

Fergus, me and P’dilly (& our ‘rents) went for another LONG walk… we were all tired by the end of it… it’s only -4C out and we all had a spring in our steps… if there had been a little less snow we could have actually all walked together too.

I think P’dilly and I need a two-dog leash… we keep having to do the untangle dance;)

I hear the decorations are coming down tomorrow :( … we liked them.

Piccadilly jumped up on the couch by herself… to terrorize the Christmas cushions!

My sister turned into a snowball… November 18th 2007 5:44 pm

We could not believe how many little snowflakes turned into little hitch-hiker snowballs on Piccadilly – after our walk…. once she was cleaned off it looked like she’d had a bath… (and I thought I had problems – at least my legs are longer than 4 inches~~~~~~~~)

* we have a new snow video too *

She gave me heck for teaching P’dilly how to rip the cool, flimsy undercover from beneath the couch… and then play tug-o-war with it … so, when I barked at her that I NEEDED to GO out … and I did; I just continued on to visit My Fergus…. and My sweet Aunty Joan let me in the house (Mommy grudgingly said OK… bol).

A pup has to have some control of her own life… after all!

“OH YEAH… At least I (as in me, moi, Veronica, # 1 and first dog in the house!) know where to poop and pee! So there!”

I am NOT Twouble!

I am NOT Twouble!

OMDawgness… Mommy thought I needed a fur sibling, in case she get’s called back to work!

The deed is done:( I’ll never be alone again – I’m not convinced that is such a great thing!

- two puppies came to visit yesterday (that’s OK)
- it was a beautiful afternoon; full of sunshine and fallen leaves and those two little munchkins were totally cute; truthfully, I wasn’t exactly sure what I should do with them.. the little girl just wouldn’t leave me alone (I think she had me mixed up with her mother!)
- so, we had a fun play… and, Aunty Joan was here and took me over to see Fergus (thank Dawgness… him I know how to handle… bol)
- but, I got a bit anxious and had to go back home to see if the munchkins were gone yet – NO!
- more play time… the little girl really followed me around (Mommy says we chose each other – hmmmmmmmmmm – I didn’t know there was any choosing going on ‘thank you very much’.
- you guessed it… the boy went back home and that girl stayed (AND, slept in my old, small kennel… and played with my ‘luv ya’ squeaky toy… and my icecream squeaky toy, and tugged on my black bear squeaky rug:((((( Now, I don’t mind sharing (well… with friends… I’m not so sure about siblings)
- up and down all night long – for goodness sake – if she whimpered Mommy took her outside! Of course I had to follow!
- Do we really need the Piccadilly poop report, MOM??? I guess so. Mommy was worried ’cause she hadn’t ‘gone’ since we got her… even after our night time walk (which, I must say she did very well ’sidering the shortness of her legs – she makes me seem huge… hehehe)
—- so, Mommy did a butt check (which she should have done before, really) and noticed some swelling…. then the worry really started…….. but, finally Piccadilly did her business on our mornin’ walk (although she sure has a funny way of doing ‘it’… she laid her head right on the ground with her butt stuck right up in the air???? I shouldn’t make fun – maybe it was hurting her… she did kinda’ whimper.
—- so – a vet appt. first thing this morning… and, yes indeedy, there is swelling … and the anal glands needed expressing… and they shaved all around her butt (tee hee) and put topical cream all around it; and sent a syringe full home with Mommy for her; but, I guess it’s nothing very serious… she is overall a healthy little girl; born Aug. 14 and weighing in at a whopping 3.2 lbs…

- don’t tell Mommy, but I was a bit concerned too… and I’m glad she’s going to be OK…. BUT, what am I supposed to DO with her????? Every single day from now on %|

Today, March 10, Mommy and Daddy have belonged to me for one- whole year. March 10th 2007 9:32 pm

It was a snowy March day, one year ago, when I was picked up by Mommy and Daddy. I was so little then, but they kept me warm and cozy and we all loved each other immediately.

One more sleep and we will all be at home together…. and Mommy phoned Grandma today, and asked her to give me an extra treat to celebrate (Grandma confessed that I have already been having lots of treats) our one year ‘together’ anniversary.

I am one lucky pup, but Mommy says she is the luckiest of all to have me:-)

Yep – training is all it takes…. hehehehe.
