Why does every season seem to involve pictures and changes of clothes? Can’t you just use LAST years picture?
Good thing we work for treats!

Mist meets grove of trees,
realm of quiet inclusion.
Welcomes the walkers/
The air finds its way/
Fast past my hurried body./
Revel in the touch.
Virgina Woolf wrote:
“No, delightful as the pastime of measuring may be, it is the most futile of all occupations, and to submit to the decrees of measurers the most servile of attitudes. So long as you write what you wish to write, that is all that matters; and whether it matters for ages or only for hours, nobody can say. But to sacrifice a hair of the head of your vision, a shade of its colour, in deference to some Headmaster with a silver pot in his hand or to some professor with a measuring-rod up his sleeve, is the most abject treachery, and the sacrifice of wealth and chastity which used to be said to be the greatest of human disasters, a mere flea-bite in comparison.”
Rainer Maria Rilke:
“What is happening in your innermost self is worthy of your entire love; somehow you must find a way to work at it, and not lose too much time or too much courage in clarifying your attitude toward people.”
Chill uncovered skin/
with, still dark, early walking.
Find scarf and mittens.
- play on the computer
- think about the Haiku and appreciate the brevity of it.
- send belated birthday emails
- get birthday cards ready for the future
- have a cup of tea (may be sorry for that)
- listen to Jason Mraz on You Tube… it is like poetry being sung (thanks Jenny Lee for the recommendation).

End day setting sky/
Nature’s heart expands with awe/
beyond paintbrush skill.
Leaf not yet fallen
What will inspire your descent/
North wind hesitates.

Woof's for ARby's
We ‘graduated’ from puppy obedience class… Veronica got 86 and Piccadilly 61… Piccy sorta’ forgot that she should sit and WAIT and down and WAIT and to not go AWAY from the judge when she was doing the ’sit for examination’. Hehehe… all in all it was a good time and Piccadilly really did learn the most because she’s not skeered of other dogs and people like she was when she first started.
A SUCCESS!
